Programme Overview

International Nurse Preparatory Programme is developed by ISDC in partnership University of the West of Scotland (UWS); the leading Nursing Provider in Scotland. A three Month Training Program for Nursing under Graduates and above; The Program comprises of English Language enables to prepare for IELTS/OET Examinations , hands on training for CBT and OSCE Examinations of UK Nursing & Midwifery Council, UK. Successful candidates can be placed in UK in partnership with Health Education England (HEE) and National Health Services (NHS).

This programme is designed to equip students with a greater understanding of the conduct and performance requirements for high quality healthcare practice within India and UK adult nursing context. The students are prepared as per high order thinking skills like knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation of professional nursing practice. The training is spread over 360 hours including 90 hours of skills training enabling nursing undergraduates, graduates & freshly recruited nurses to perform their job assignment in the hospital, be it domestic or International.

    Training Infrastructure

    Students on the programme will have the opportunity to practice skills development within a simulated healthcare environment, these state-of-the-art facilities will simulate the clinical environment which healthcare practitioners (including nurses) are exposed to, making use of equipment which reflects that used in worldwide healthcare settings.

    Aiming to equip students with greater understanding of the conduct and performance requirements for higher quality healthcare practice within the Uk adult nursing context, the programme is of interest to nurses who want to live and work in the UK as a registered Nurse.

    Student Support: Student support and guidance is very important to us. In addition to support provided by programme leaders, there are other key roles within the student support network, including co-ordinators (who will offer support at module level) and personal tutors (which each student will be allocated for professional and pastoral support needs)
